Selection method – Application by student
The application should be submitted by the students through the Project Guide or the Head of the Department where the project was carried out.
The deadline for the applications will be November 15, 2025 23:59 Hours.
Eligibility for application
Final Year (4th year) B.E. / B.Tech /B.Sc. (Engg., Material Science, Life Sciences) / B.Pharm. projects with broader relevance to Biomaterials Science. Thesis/dissertation/project reports should be completed during the academic years 2024-25.
The thesis evaluation should be completed at the time of application. A provisional degree will also be considered.
Applicant is encouraged to be a member of SBAOI.
Application
The student will apply for the award with a description of the project work in the application form available here (Download) along with a soft copy of the thesis/project reports submitted to the university/instituton.
The application form should be endorsed by the Project Guide or the Head of the Department along with the copy of the degree certificate. Provisional degree will also be considered.
The applications should be sent to sbaoiawards@gmail.com on or before November 15, 2025.
Selection Procedure
Shortlisting will be done by the Selection Committee of SBAOI and the Selection Committee will recommend the Applicant for conferment of the Award.
Conferring the award
The Award will be conferred during the Annual Meeting of SBAOI (Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, December, 2025).
Honor includes a Certificate of Award, Waiver of Registration Fee to attend SBAOI Annual Meeting.
An opportunity to present the work in the conference.
