Membership Cancellation, Refund and Returns Policy
Membership Cancellation by SBAOI
The executive committee of the Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs (SBAOI) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the SBAOI after assigning proper reasons. If SBAOI refuses a new or renewing membership (and payment is done), registrants will be offered a full refund (after deducting any online transaction charges). However, once the membership is approved, the membership fee will not be refunded.
Membership Cancellation by a Member
Members has the right to forego his/her membership after due information in writing to the executive committee. NO REFUND of membership fee will be made on an event if cancelation of membership is initiated.
The above policies apply to all SBAOI memberships unless otherwise noted in the corresponding program materials.
All donations made to the Society are nonrefundable.
General Cancellation Policy for Conferences
Refund of Registration Fee may be provided by the respective Conference Organizers depending upon their Refund Policy. However, the general cancellation policy for conferences organized by SBAOI is as follows.
- Cancellation should be made in writing (stating your name and registration number) and send to the corresponding Conference Organizers with a copy to the Secretary at email@example.com
- In case of cancellation within 40 days before the Conference Date – Refund of 50% of your registration fee (less the bank and administrative charges) will be provided.
- In case of cancellation between 40 days to 15 days before the Conference Date – Refund of 25% of your registration fee (less the bank and administrative charges) will be provided.
- In case of cancellation within 14 days before the conference date, NO REFUND may be provided.
